Hellebores and Daphne are great late winter flowering plants that last a long time and reward with colour and fragrance year after year. When not much else is in flower at this time, these will reward you and your garden with their spectacular displays.
There are three big tips for great home grown vegetables.
1. SUN 2. SOIL 3. WATER
SUN
All plants need light. Most plants (fruit and veg) grown for human consumption need full sun to produce to their full potential. Select the sunniest part you can for your own veggie plot.
SOIL
Great soil = great vegies. Rich, humus filled soil and the use of fertilisers will keep your veggie garden producing great crops. Dig in manure or compost on a regular basis to build up your soil.
