Late Winter colour for your garden

Hellebores and Daphne are great late winter flowering plants that last a long time and reward with colour and fragrance year after year. When not much else is in flower at this time, these will reward you and your garden with their spectacular displays. Both grow in semi shaded positions, and work well when planted together.  Plant both in well drained areas, with some cover from trees. Great planted next to the house where their colour and showy flowers can be enjoyed.  Soil improved previously is ideal and mulch well to keep the roots cool and weeds at bay.
